The November 2024 ceasefire stipulates Israeli withdrawal from designated Lebanese points, a halt to cross‑border attacks, and disarmament of non‑state actors south of the Litani under Lebanese state authority. Through Aug–Sep 2025, violations, primarily aerial strikes, drone incidents and leaflet campaigns persisted, while the Lebanese government opened the formal policy track to consolidate arms under the state.
